Merry Christmas!!

Christmas in Mobile

We all had such a great time in Mobile. Christmas is such a wonderful time with all of our family. We treasure our time in Mobile. And the children are making wonderful memories.

Christmas Cookie Time

All the Franklin children making Christmas cookies. This was a lot of fun. Amy had this at her house last year. But, she is a little busy with sweet Alexander. So, we had it at our house this year. I think the children had a good time.

Stay inside on a rainy gray day.... Nah!

Thursday we woke to find a gray wet day. Not to mention it was COLD. A few years ago, I would have spent the day inside drinking something hot and snuggled up under the afghan my Mama made for me. But, after I had these two little ones, I discovered the fun that a day like this can hold. Splashing in fresh mud puddles is a delight in the Franklin household. Everyone of us has a pair of rubber boots. Although, I guess Annalise will wait until she is walking to wear her adorable ladybug rain boots. (Thank you Aunt T !) Life is too sweet to allow a little cold rain to get in our way.

Christmas Tree Farm

Jake and I took the little ones to the Christmas tree farm over the weekend. Mama got to go with us. We had so much fun. Gideon and Annalise love their Grandmama. We got a really beautiful tree. Christmas is so special with these children.

My Little Prince

Gideon and I made this crown for him the other day. I think he just looks so handsome. I had to include this picture of Annalise too. They are both just too cute.

Annalise said "Da"!

Our little girl is getting so big. She said "Hey Da" today. I can hardly believe she is so big. Gideon is so fascinated by this whole thing. It is lots of fun watching him try to get her to say things. So, now we can have lots of conversations as long as they include "hey", "yea", or "Da". I love this picture of the three loves of my life.
